What is the difference between clothing labels and stamps?

Our clothing label options are available in three different application methods: peel-and-stick, iron-on or stamp-on. All of these options are incredibly durable! The main difference is how they are applied to clothing.

Our Tag Mates are small peel-and-stick labels that stick right to the care tag inside your clothing, where the size, brand and washing instructions are found. We do not recommend using them directly on the fabric and find that most ‘tagless’ shirts have a care tag hiding in the side-seam down near the bottom of the shirt which you could apply a Tag Mate to. The ease of application makes these our most popular choice of clothing labels and once stuck, they're guaranteed to stay on through the washer and dryer!

Our Iron-On Clothing Labels are the tried-and-true traditional way of labelling your clothing. They fuse right to iron-safe fabric using your regular household iron, on medium-high heat. They're a great solution for tagless clothing, towels, sheets, socks and underwear.

Lastly, our Custom Clothing Stamp is a fast, easy and clean way to mark clothing and is good for approximately 500 applications! It's a great labelling solution for light coloured fabrics, and you simply stamp the name onto your clothing items to label them for up to 40+ washes!
